Addison Oktoberfest
4970 Addison Circle Dr, Addison, TX 75001
About this happenin
Addison Circle Park goes Bavarian for four days each September, Thursday through Sunday, at Addison Oktoberfest, which the Town of Addison has put on for nearly 40 years. It has been named one of the most authentic Oktoberfests outside Germany. Go for the ceremonial keg tapping and Masskrugstemmen, the stein-holding contest, and stay for Bavarian food and beer, dancing, shopping and music with a big Texas twist. Sunday is Hund-Day, when dachshunds race in the Dachshund Dash for the title of Golden Dachshund. Groups of up to eight can book an all-day table in the open-air Partyhalle, and buying 20 or more tickets gets a group discount. Addison residents get half off admission with proof of residency. Pets aren’t allowed Thursday through Saturday, only service animals. Parking is free in three town garages on North Dallas Parkway.
More in September: 12 other Dallas-Fort Worth events.
