Weeki Wachee Springs State Park
About
Mermaids have performed underwater at Weeki Wachee Springs in Spring Hill since 1947, and you watch the daily shows through windows below the spring's surface. Newton Perry, who opened the park, built the act around breathing from air hoses. The riverboat cruise is the park's own, but kayaks come from Weeki Fresh Water Adventures, a separate outfitter next door.
