About this happenin

Shef Food + Wine is a ticketed festival at EpicCentral in Grand Prairie, presented by Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley of T2D Concepts. They call it a modern Texas table, a weekend where chefs, makers, music and hospitality tell the full story of the state. Their pitch is that Texas is not one culture or one cuisine. Mexican, Gulf Coast, Vietnamese, Nigerian, Indian, Korean, Black Southern, Indigenous and European influences all sit beside classic barbecue and ranching, and the festival sets out to show guests the Texas they didn't know existed. The weekend has included a Friday block party and welcome party, a restaurant takeover, fireside chats, pickleball with chefs, wine tastings and talks, live music, industry panels and a Saturday Grand Tasting. A portion of the money raised goes to Roots Impact, the T2D nonprofit that funds culinary scholarships and mentoring.
